Joined up marketing for Hästens

Hästens is a well-established Swedish luxury bed brand, supplying beds to the Swedish Royal family, celebrities and sports personalities. The global Hästens brand were looking to expand the business into the UK by establishing partnerships with local businesses.

Hästens West End approached Petersen to establish the Hästens brand in the UK and drive sales to their new London-based Hästens stores. By creating an integrated marketing campaign, with an emphasis on advertising, PR and the web, the brand has now become synonymous with luxury beds.

By carefully measuring the results of each campaign channel, over the years we have been able to develop and adapt the campaign accordingly and help Hästens determine the most effective publications and cost-effective marketing channels to spend their marketing budget.

PR

Public Relations is central to the success of the Hästens account, securing major coverage in national titles, leading monthly homes titles, business, trade and local press. Running annual campaigns to increase general brand awareness, launch campaigns and events for new projects, as well as targeted campaigns working with affiliate luxury brands and magazine-sponsored projects with designers. We have also established Hästens West End owner Brent Cooper as the global Hästens 'bed expert' resulting in coverage in a vast variety of titles.

Social Media

Petersen manages the social media campaign on behalf of Brent Cooper – owner of Hästens West End. Twitter activity focusses on Brent's role as the brand's resident bed expert, and is utilised for B2B communication and journalist liaison in connection with the Petersen PR department.

The media schedule for Hästens West End requires Petersen to produce advertising campaigns for home interest titles and local press in line with national brand guidelines. Tracking devices are implemented to monitor the response to each advert, which provides vital information when considering which publications to advertise in in the future.

Web

Working alongside Hästens branding, we developed the Hästens West End website. Aimed solely at promoting the three Hästens West End stores we built on the national awareness generated by our work in the press and on various social media sites by featuring exclusive content and promotions. The website is built on a Content Management System to allow content to be updated by our client and ourselves.
